BOOK MINAMI

Hello! I'm Minami.

I’m a Japanese-born Broadway performer, international keynote speaker, and founder of YU-project, based in New York City.

I help leaders, professionals, and purpose-driven individuals stay connected to themselves under pressure—so they can show up fully, communicate their worth, and lead with presence.

My journey to Broadway wasn’t a straight line.
I moved to New York without speaking English, carrying a dream and a deep sense of uncertainty. It took 88 auditions to land my first opportunity—and another decade before I made my Broadway debut.

But along the way, I discovered something more valuable than success:

That how we show up—especially in moments of pressure, rejection, or self-doubt—shapes everything.

One of the most defining moments came early in my training, when a teacher asked me to do something simple, yet deeply uncomfortable:
to put my hair up and stop hiding behind it.

That moment revealed how often we hide parts of ourselves to feel safe—and how true connection begins when we choose to be seen.

Today, I bring these lessons from the stage into my work with organizations and audiences around the world.

Through my signature SHINE Method™ and my platform YU-project (You Are Unlimited), I translate pressure-tested performance principles into practical tools for leadership, communication, and self-trust.

My work is grounded in a simple belief:

The moment you choose to show up—especially in moments that matter—you create possibility.

Over the past decade, I’ve supported thousands of individuals through speaking, coaching, and community—helping them move beyond self-doubt and step into a more aligned, powerful way of leading and living.

If you’re looking for a speaker who brings depth, presence, and real transformation—not just inspiration—I’d love to connect.
